How to automatically receive faxes in ASUS S550CM series:

1. Click Fax at the bottom.

　2. Click Tools and then select Fax Settings. If prompted for an administrator password or permissions, please enter the password or grant permissions.

3. Click the General tab, and then in the Send/Receive options, select Allow the device to receive fax calls.

4. Then select Auto answer after X rings and then select the corresponding number of rings so that the modem will automatically try to receive a fax when a call comes in.

If your computer is connected to a fax server, you do not need to perform any operations to receive faxes. Instead, new faxes are automatically forwarded to your Windows Fax and Scan inbox, regardless of whether your computer is connected to the network. If you are not using an internal or external fax modem, you need to choose how to receive faxes.

If you want to use a fax modem to change the way you send and receive faxes, you will need to provide an administrator password or permissions. Users with administrator rights can change settings at any time. Before you receive a fax, make sure your computer is connected to a fax modem or fax server.
